Dormant Funds, Construction Of The RS To The Field Stopped

MALANG, KOMPAS.com – construction of the Academic Hospital University of Brawijaya (Field) in Malang, East Java, was halted due to budget allocated tersendatnya from the State Budget income and Expenditure (BUDGET). The plan, the hospital is to be built on land covering an area of 2.5 hectares and will spend up to $ 600 billion budget. Construction is expected to be completely for four years since groundbreaking in 2009.

Due to the tersendatnya Fund, the development process of academic hospitals were unable to complete on schedule. Supposedly, the whole physical development to procurement of goods and medical equipment are targeted has been completed later this year. In fact, universities target hospitals can already operate to serve the public in this year.

Molornya development time and then impacting on the livelihoods of the prospective study doctors of Medicine Fakultsa (FK) is supposed to be undergoing field study or practice. They have to go through their field study away from campus.

"We hope the development budget remaining from this BUDGET as soon as possible in order for the construction of RSAUB liquid can soon accomplished. At least next year already finishing, "says Yogi.
